Time Management Courses

Results in No Time is probably the only one-stop time management shop in the world, offering both conventional time management (CTM)--techniques to determine what to do--as well as the new discipline of inner time management (ITM)--methods to optimize the way we work.

For a FREE, introductory seminar that presents ideas and methods necessary for mastering time, including what time is and how our experience of time is created and influenced, check out Mastering Time 101 (for an online course) or Mastering Time 101 (for a PDF file that can be emailed to you).

The essential conventional time mangement skills are to identify long-term goals, break down projects, prioritize tasks, estimate how long it will take to do things, and organize and schedule tasks. Check out the FREE conventional time mangement seminar, Mastering Time 103 (for an online course) or Mastering Time 103 (for a PDF file that can be emailed to you).

Besides conventional time management (CTM) , which handles what objectives and tasks we do, there's inner time management (ITM), which optimizes how we do things. For starters, as briefly described above, see Mastering Time 101 (for an online course) or Mastering Time 101 (for a PDF file that can be emailed to you).

A more advanced course, Mastering Time 102: Seeing Time as an Ally, presents principles and many methods that can be useful for mastering time. This is an inner time management (ITM) workshop which focuses on optimizing felt time, the way we actually experience and feel time, rather than on what to do with our clock time. For people in all but the most routine jobs, learning and consistently using both CTM and ITM methods is necessary to optimize our lives both personally and professionally.

There is another cutting-edge workshop: Taking the Pressure Out of Deadlines. This workshop has two parts, an experiential inquiry on the cause of time pressure, and a lab to explore different ways of working under deadline pressure. This is an ITM workshop, going beyond conventional time mnaagement. An extensive audiocassette tape version of this course is now available for shipping.

"The psychological sense that accompanies the perception of time as static and nonflowing is one of tranquility, serenity and peace. . . . It is the opposite of urgency." Space, Time and Medicine, p. 179
